Interesting Acquisition

At our parish bazaar, this weeked, I scored a copy of the Jerusalem Bible, printed in 1970, and illustrated by Salvador Dali. For $12. Most of the color Illustrations are mixed media, mainly pencil and spastic watercolor, not the lush oils of some of his more prominent work. But, the book's in outstanding condition, complete with it's original box, and it even includes the deuterocanonical books.

Nice Catch!
At my recent parish bazaar I got several old catechisms and Catholic devotional books for a few bucks!
Pretty soon I am going to have my own book blow-out and empty my shelves of a lot of older religious books that I acquired over the years(before my reversion to Catholicism). Anyone want to buy a copy of Prayer of Jabez or the Purpose Driven Life or Intended for Pleasure? or You Can Be Healed!

Depending on fuel prices this winter, you could burn them to keep warm.. ;-)

No dont burn them. You don't want to harm the atmosphere with the sulphuric fumes they are sure to produce.

Use them for target practice.
